Mask Requirement

Masks are Required at the Dauphin Medical Clinic

With the recent loosening of Public Health restrictions, the province has opted to strongly recommend masks rather than requiring they be worn.

Despite that, the Dauphin Medical Clinic has decided that we will not be changing our current processes.

Patients and staff alike are still required to wear masks. Visitors will continue to be screened at the door. The walk-in process that we have streamlined will not be changed as of yet.

While vaccines are proven to be extremely effective, there remains a small risk that a fully vaccinated individual could contract or spread COVID-19. The continued use of masks is an added layer of protection that we can offer our patients, our staff, and everyone's family members.

If you do not have a mask, both disposable and re-useable masks may be purchased at the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy.

Wearing a mask is not a substitute for physical distancing and good hand hygiene. However, it can be an additional measure that can protect others around you, even if you do not have any symptoms.

Additional information can be found at https://www.gov.mb.ca/covid19/updates/prepareandprevent.html regarding how to prepare and prevent the spread of COVID-19.
